1/2 pound white candy coating, coarsely chopped
24 miniature pretzels
Orange-colored sugar or sprinkles
6 green gumdrops, each cut into 4 lengthwise slices

Steps:

  • In a microwave, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Dip 1 pretzel in candy coating; let excess drip off. , Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheet. If desired, fill pretzel holes with candy coating. Decorate with orange sugar or sprinkles. For stem, dip the back of 1 gumdrop piece into candy coating; place above the pumpkin. Repeat. Let stand until set, about 30 minutes.

1 (20 ounce) package miniature pretzel twists
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups dark brown sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
⅛ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet. Arrange pretzels in a single layer baking sheet.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Do not stir once the sugar syrup begins to boil. Heat to 244 degrees F (117 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a firm but pliable ball.
  • Pour hot mixture over pretzels; toss to coat evenly.
  • Bake pretzels in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Stir; continue to bake until crisp, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and break into individual pieces. Cool on wire rack or parchment paper.

1 cup orange candy coating disks

Steps:

  • In a microwave, melt baking chocolate; stir until smooth. Dip each pretzel halfway into chocolate allowing excess to drip off.
