Steps:
- Stir the soup, milk and half the cheese, 5 tablespoons bacon, black pepper, beans and 1 1/3 cups onions in a 3-quart baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, onions and bacon.
- Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.

GREEN BEANS WITH CHEDDAR
This is an interesting way to make green beans. This reminds me of a green bean casserole, but there is no soup in it. I made this for a dinner party I threw and was unsure if it would be a hit, but everyone devoured it and none was left so enjoy!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In large skillet melt butter over medium heat.
- add onion and garlic, cook and stir 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
- add green beans.
- stir in sour cream and mayonnaise and cook 3 minutes.
- Place green bean mixture in a lightly greased two quart baking dish.
- cover and bake 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
- return to oven and bake 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place green beans and soup in a large microwave-safe bowl. Mix well and heat in the microwave on HIGH until warm (3 to 5 minutes). Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese and heat mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer green bean mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle with French fried onions and remaining cheese.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven until the cheese melts and the onions just begin to brown.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a small skillet, saute water chestnuts, onion and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter until onion is crisp-tender, 4-5 minutes; set aside. , In large skillet, melt remaining 4 tablespoons butter; stir in flour until smooth. - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth, and cook for one minute. Stir in the salt, sugar, onion, and sour cream. Add green beans, and stir to coat.
- Transfer the mixture to a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Spread shredded cheese over the top. In a small bowl, toss together cracker crumbs and remaining butter, and sprinkle over the cheese.
