1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
10 -20 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (whole) or 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper (whole)
3 tablespoons fresh parsley
3 cups penne pasta or 3 cups rotini pasta
1/4-1/3 cup romano cheese or 1/4-1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1 -2 tablespoon Club House Greek seasoning
1 red pepper, cut in 1 inch cubes
1 green pepper, cut in 1 inch cubes
1 yellow pepper, cut in 1 inch cubes
1 can 375ml black olives, Sliced or Whole,drained
1 red onion, sliced thinly
1 (250 g) package feta cheese, cut and crumbled
1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest
1 lemon, juice of
6 hot Italian sausages or 6 chorizo sausage, cooked and sliced into 1/2 slices

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to pkg directions.
  • While pasta is cooking, in a stir fry pan, Saute garlic and Peppers, in oil.
  • Add Sausages,Olives and Greek seasoning to warm through.
  • Toss hot pasta with garlic mixture, add salt
  • Garnish with cheeses, lemon zest ,lemon juice, onion, pepper flakes and parsley.
  • Serve immediately in a pre-warmed serving dish.

This is a very flavorful dish that my brothers named Death By Garlic. Warning: If one person has this, you'd better all have some! Beautiful flavor and zest. (I like to brown kielbasa sausage and toss it in, then sprinkle feta cheese on top. Yum!)

½ cup olive oil
10 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 pound dry penne pasta
⅓ cup grated Romano cheese

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to directions
  • In a pan, brown garlic in oil. Add salt, pepper and parsley and remove from heat.
  • Toss penne pasta with garlic mixture and Romano cheese and serve!

I have been trying to duplicate the Greek Pasta from Zio's Italian Restaurant for a couple years. I finally got the seasoning right, and my family gave me a 'thumbs up'! Now it is one of our favorites.

3 chicken breasts, grilled and diced
1 lb penne pasta
8 ounces feta cheese
2 -3 teaspoons all purpose Greek seasoning
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
1/2 cup olive oil
10 garlic cloves, diced
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, diced
6 ounces kalamata olives (optional)
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to directions on the box.
  • While the pasta is cooking, grill chicken seasoned w/some of the Greek Seasoning.
  • Saute garlic, onion, green pepper and red pepper flakes in oil.
  • Toss pasta, chicken, sauteed vegetables, tomatoes and Feta together along with the Greek Seasoning. Enjoy!

1 lb uncooked pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 cup chopped red onion (or white)
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
1 (14 ounce) can marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 large tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons dried oregano
salt and pepper
2 lemons, wedged, for garnish

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
  • Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and onion, and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the chicken.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, and add the artichoke hearts, tomato, feta cheese, parsley, lemon juice, oregano and cooked pasta.
  • Stir until heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, season to taste with salt and pepper, and garnish with lemon wedges.

This is out of a Greek Cookbook that I gave my Son-in-law as a gift. He loves to cook! He has a very lucky wife.

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped finely
1/2 cup dry white wine
14 ounces canned tomatoes, chopped (in juice)
1 pinch sugar
2 tablespoons fresh herbs, chopped (such as parsley, oregano or marjoram)
salt and pepper
14 ounces macaroni (such as long hollow Greek or other short pasta)
14 ounces seafood, mixed frozen, thawed and drained

Steps:

  • Heat oil (2tbls) in large saucepan, add onion and garlic, fry for about 5 minutes, until softened.
  • Pour the wine into the saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Add tomatoes and their juice, the sugar, chopped herbs, salt and pepper and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook the macaroni in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes or till tender.
  • Drain the pasta and return to pan.
  • Add the remaining 1 tbl oil and toss together.
  • Add seafood to tomato sauce and simmer for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve the seafood on top of the pasta.
