TRADITIONAL CHEX PARTY MIX

Traditional Chex Party Mix image

I came across this recipe over the weekend. This recipe is at least 25 years old and I imagine I got it off a box of Chex cereal way back when. I know we used to make it all the time for parties and that everyone really enjoyed it.

MAPLE NUT CHEX PARTY MIX

Maple Nut Chex Party Mix image

My husband's family loves traditional Chex Party Mix which is a favorite at our Thanksmas celebration every year. My husband was craving something sweeter and asked for Maple Chex mix instead. I tried the only recipe I could find online but wasn't completely pleased with the results since the recipe really didn't coat the chex very well. I made a few changes to increase the coating. Very rich, very yummy. Definitely not for those on a diet.
