150g (5 oz) ketchup
30ml (2 tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
15ml (1 tbsp) peanut oil
15ml (1 tbsp) mild mustard
30ml (2 tbsp) brown sugar
5ml (1 tsp) Smoked paprika
2.5ml (½ tsp) cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Heat the sauce on a low heat until well blended and the sugar has dissolved.
  • Use the sauce as a dip or baste with your favourite meat or vegetables.

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoon coconut aminos
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat until it starts to boil.
  • Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring often.

1/2 cup gluten-free ketchup
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup gluten-free Worcestershire sauce (Lea and Perrins made in the U.S. is gluten-free)
1/4 cup water
1 medium onion (chopped)
1/4 teaspoon celery powder (not celery salt)
1/2 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Combine all of the ingredients-gluten-free ketchup, tomato sauce, vinegar, pineapple juice, brown sugar, gluten-free Worcestershire sauce, water, chopped onion, celery powder, and paprika-in a heavy, medium-sized saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
  • Let the sauce cool, then place in an airtight container or Mason jar, and store in the refrigerator.

2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 cup shallot, minced
1 (7 ounce) can organic tomato paste
1 cup orange juice, fresh squeezed
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Warm oil in a saucepan over medium low heat.
  • Add garlic and shallot; cook until soft.
  • Add tomato paste, orange juice, vinegar, mustard, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Simmer over low heat 15 to 20 minutes, stirring often.
  • Baste over fish or chicken.
  • Refrigerate and allow to marinate for 1-3 hours.
  • Grill and serve.
