Steps:
- In a medium sized saucepan over medium high heat whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger. Heat it to a simmer.
- In a small bowl whisk together the water and cornstarch. Slowly whisk into the saucepan. Whisk the sauce constantly until it starts to thicken.
- Remove from heat and cool.

- 1. Mix all ingredients together in saucepan. Bring to a slow boil over medium high heat. Stir in cornstarch and cook until thickened. Use as a marinade or glaze for kabobs, chicken, steak, fish, etc. Enjoy!

- Bring mirin to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar.
