1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger dry gin
1 lime, juiced
½ teaspoon superfine sugar
seltzer water
1 slice lime

Steps:

  • Fill a highball glass 3/4 full with ice. Pour in gin, lime juice, and sugar. Stir, and fill remainder of the glass with seltzer water. Garnish with a lime slice.

1 cup club soda or seltzer water
3 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 cup grenadine
Gin
Lime rounds and/or maraschino cherries, for garnish

Steps:

  • Fill 4 tall glasses with crushed ice. Combine the ginger beer, club soda, lime juice and grenadine in a pitcher and pour over the ice. Add a shot of gin to each glass. Garnish with limes rounds and/or cherries.

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
6 to 8 oz chilled club soda or seltzer
Garnish: lime wedges

Steps:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with cracked ice, then add gin and lime juice. Shake 5 seconds, then strain into 2 tall (8- to 10-ounce) glasses filled with ice cubes. Top off drinks with club soda, then squeeze a lime wedge over each and drop into glass.

3 oz good gin
2 Tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed
8 oz cold club soda
2 lime slices
ice, as needed

Steps:

  • 1. PREP/PREPARE
  • 2. All your ingredients should be cold, so stick them in the fridge for an hour or so before making this drink.
  • 3. Gather your ingredients (mise en place).
  • 4. Add some cracked ice to a cocktail shaker, then the gin and lime juice. Shake four or five times.
  • 5. PLATE/PRESENT
  • 6. Divide between two glasses, add the club soda, and garnish with a lime slice. Enjoy.
  • 7. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
