Steps:
- Add butter to a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish and place into a cold oven. Preheat the oven to 350 and let butter melt.
- In a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, and baking powder and mix well. Stir in milk until combined.
- Once butter is melted, pour batter into pan with butter. Top with dollops of cherry pie filling.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until brown on top.
- Let stand to cool before serving warm as is or over vanilla ice cream

- Mix 3/4 cup sugar, butter or margarine, flour, salt, baking powder, and milk together. Place cherries in the bottom of a 9 inch square pan. Spread dough over cherries.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 cup sugar and cornstarch. Stir in boiling water. Pour mixture over the dough.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 375°. In a small heavy saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and water until smooth; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in berries. Transfer to an 8-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. , For topping, beat sugar and butter until crumbly. Beat in vanilla and milk. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; add to butter mixture, stirring just until moistened. - Put sugar and water into a cocktail shaker and stir to dissolve. Add orange slices to the shaker and pour in sherry. Fill with ice, shake well, and strain into a tall glass full of crushed ice. Garnish with seasonal berries and a fresh slice of orange.

BERRY COBBLER

- For the filling: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish or 9-inch cast-iron skillet with butter.
- Put the berries in a large bowl, then add the granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and butter and toss together until well coated. Pour into the baking dish. Set aside.
- For the batter: Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, butter and egg in a bowl to form a stiff batter. - In a saucepan over medium heat, cook cherries with their juice until boiling; remove from heat.
- In a medium bowl, mix flour, one cup sugar, milk, baking powder and salt.
