OLIVE GARDEN-STYLE HOUSE SALAD
For many customers, Olive Garden's all-you-can-eat salad is even better than the bottomless basket of breadsticks. The dish has been on the menu since the first restaurant opened in 1982, and it has become so popular over the years that Olive Garden started selling the dressing in grocery stores in 2017. The secret to re-creating the texture at home: a few spoonfuls of Miracle Whip.

- In the bowl of a blender, combine dressing ingredients and blend until smooth. Place in the refrigerator until ready to serve. In a large salad bowl, layer salad ingredients in order beginning with lettuce. Pour salad dressing over salad and toss to combine. Serve and enjoy! COOK'S NOTE: If you prefer dressing to be yellow in color (like the original) add yellow food coloring. I prefer it natural so I left it out.
KNOCK-OFF OLIVE GARDEN SALAD DRESSING
I was served this dressing by my neighbor who told me "if I liked Olive Garden's dressing I would love this". She was right and now this is all I will make now for my husband and I with a great steak or shrimp dinner. It's great and tastes so good. I did make some changes to suit my taste, especially the garlic. YUMMY!

GLORIA PITZER'S OLIVE GARDEN-STYLE SALAD DRESSING
Gloria Pitzer is known for copying famous foods, but making them healthy at the same time. "I take the junk out of junk food," says Pitzer. "You know what goes into my recipes." Gloria is careful to point out that she doesn't actually know what the big chains put in their food. "I don't try to dissect the foods and figure out the chemical ingredients," she says. "I never, ever try to steal anyone's secret corporate recipe. I just do my best to duplicate the taste." Enjoy!

OLIVE GARDEN SALAD DRESSING
This ia a recipe from The Country Cook who I love! She said about this recipe and I'll quote her writting... "I will never say it tastes exactly like what you get in the restaurant. Because many times, we just don't have access to certain ingredients that the restaurants do but we can sometimes get the taste pretty darn close." I love Olive Garden and they do have the best dressing so I am taking her word for it and trying it! Hope you enjoy it too!
