This is my favorite smoothie! Great for breakfast or mid-afternoon snack. I always have all these things in my house already. The PB adds a protein boost while the small amount of chocolate makes me feel like I'm cheating! Oh yeah, my little ones Love this one too.

1 large banana
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or 2 tablespoons powdered chocolate milk mix
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup ice cube

Steps:

  • Throw it all in the blender and blend until smooth! Isn't that easy.
  • I like to freeze my banana, but you don't have to.

1/2 frozen sliced banana (start off with maybe 1/4th to make sure you don't dump)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 tablespoons low-carb peanut butter
1/2 cup crushed ice or 2 -3 ice cubes
8 ounces Hood carb countdown milk or 8 ounces soymilk

Steps:

  • Blend in a magic bullet cup for 30 or so seconds.
  • Enjoy!

This is a great coffee drink that I serve to my running friends after a Saturday morning long run. The protein powder helps restore our tired muscles! Serve each glass with a straw so the drink can be stirred while it cools.

4 cups hot, brewed dark roast coffee
1 large banana
¼ cup fat free sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 ½ scoops vanilla flavored whey protein powder
20 cubes ice

Steps:

  • Place the hot coffee, banana, condensed milk, chocolate syrup, and protein powder into a blender. Hold down the lid of the blender with a folded kitchen towel, and carefully start the blender, using a few quick pulses to get the coffee moving before leaving it on to puree until smooth. Divide ice cubes into 4 large glasses, and pour coffee mixture over the ice.
