SHEET PAN FUNFETTI COOKIE BARS

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup butter (softened to room temperature)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
2 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup sprinkles

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar.
  • Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  • Add baking powder, salt and flour and mix until well combined.
  • Fold in white chocolate chips and sprinkles, reserving some of them to sprinkle on top before baking.
  • Spray a half baking sheet (18 x 13 inch) with nonstick cooking spray, spread dough out evenly and top with remaining sprinkles.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until middle is set and edges are golden brown.
  • Let cool and cut into squares.

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
½ cup butter, softened
1 egg
⅔ cup multi-colored sprinkles, divided
1 cup white chocolate chips
½ cup sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9x9-inch pan with aluminum foil and spray liberally with cooking spray.
  • Mix yellow cake mix, butter, and egg together in an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment until a thick dough forms, add 1/3 cup multi-colored sprinkles and mix to incorporate.
  • Press 2/3 of the dough into bottom of prepared pan; sprinkle white chocolate chips and remaining 1/3 cup multi-colored sprinkles over top, followed by sweetened condensed milk. Roll remaining 1/3 of the dough into balls and arrange evenly over top of contents in baking dish, pressing down to flatten.
  • Bake in preheated oven until it just begins to brown, about 30 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack before cutting, about 1 hour.

1 (18 1/4 ounce) package Pillsbury Funfetti cake mix
1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1 (16 ounce) can chocolate frosting or 1 (16 ounce) can funfetti vanilla frosting

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F Grease 15x10-inch baking pan.
  • In large bowl, combine cake mix, margarine and eggs; stir by hand until thoroughly moistened. Stir in candy bits from cake mix. Spread in pan.
  • Bake for 13 to 17 minutes or until light golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool completely.
  • Frost bars and sprinkle with candy bits from frosting.
  • Cut into bars.

These Funfetti Gooey Bars are the best gooey bars ever! Made with a cake mix and a few simple ingredients, they are gooey to the max!

1 yellow cake mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
1 egg
2/3 cup sprinkles, divided
1/2 cup (from a 14 ounce can) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup white chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x9" pan with foil and spray liberally with cooking spray.
  • Add cake mix, butter, and egg to the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Mix until a thick dough forms. Add 1/3 cup sprinkles and stir until incorporated.
  • Press about 2/3 of the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle with white chocolate chips and remaining 1/3 cup sprinkles. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the top. Separate remaining dough into small balls and evenly space over the top of the bars. Press down to flatten.
  • Bake bars for about 30 minutes, or until they just begin to brown. Cool completely before slicing, otherwise the mixture will be too gooey to cut. Optional: eat straight from pan with a fork.
