1 package Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Fudge Marble Cake Mix
1 (3.4 ounce) package vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
4 large eggs
1 cup water
⅓ cup vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans.
  • Set aside cocoa packet from mix. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water and oil in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Measure 1 cup batter. Place in small bowl; stir in contents of reserved cocoa packet.
  • Spoon half the yellow batter in each loaf pan. Spoon half the chocolate batter on top of yellow batter in each pan. Run knife through batters to marble.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 5 minutes. Carefully loosen cakes from pans. Invert onto cooling racks. Cool completely. Cut cakes into slices.

1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ yellow cake mix
1 box (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2 cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour 12-cup fluted tube cake pan, or spray with baking spray with flour. In large bowl, beat cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
  • In medium bowl, mix powdered sugar and cocoa. Remove 1 1/4 cups batter; stir into cocoa mixture. Pour remaining batter into pan. Drop chocolate batter by generous tablespoonfuls randomly onto batter in pan. Cut through batter with knife for marbled effect.
  • Bake 40 to 46 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes; turn upside down onto heatproof serving plate. Remove pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • In microwavable bowl, microwave frosting uncovered on Medium 15 seconds. Spread over top of cake, allowing some to drizzle down side. Store loosely covered.

1 (18 ounce) package duncan hines moist deluxe fudge marble cake mix
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling mix
4 large eggs
1 cup club soda or 1 cup water
1/3 cup oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350; grease& flour two 9X5X3 loaf pans.
  • Set aside cocoa packet from mix.
  • Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water and oil in lge bowl; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

1/2 cup butter flavor shortening
3 cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
2/3 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups whole milk
2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup whole milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Grease and flour a 12-cup tube pan; set aside.
  • In large bowl, beat butter, shortening, and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until very creamy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add flour mixture to butter mixture, alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean.
  • Note: You may have to bake your cake longer than the stated time, depending on your oven.

  • If making icing on a rainy day, it may take longer to reach a spreadable consistency.
  • If you overbeat icing, or it begins to harden, add a little hot water, 1 teaspoon at a time, until icing is spreadable again.

Fudgey yummy chocolate pound cake, this always makes a great present. Just wrap with cellophane and ribbon! Makes a great treat in my home and for the chocolate lovers! You can make a double or triple batch and store extra loaves in the freezer. Wrap in plastic wrap, then in foil and store in freezer for up to 3 months.

1/2 c butter, softened
1 3/4 c granulated sugar
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 3/4 c all-purpose flour
2/3 c cocoa powder, unsweetened
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 c sour cream
6 oz mini semi sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda.
  • 4. Blend one-third of flour mixture into butter mixture; then 1/3 cup Sour Cream. Alternate until ingredients are incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • 5. Pour batter into a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
  • 7. Drizzle with melted chocolate as a garnish.
