Sip on a delicious dairy-free smoothie made from soymilk, peaches and white tea.

2 cups soymilk
8 bags peach-flavored white tea
3 cups frozen sliced peaches
1/4 cup honey

Steps:

  • In 1-quart saucepan, heat soymilk just to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Add tea bags and push into soymilk; let stand 5 minutes. Discard teabags. Place saucepan with soymilk mixture in freezer 15 to 20 minutes to chill.
  • Place chilled soymilk, peaches and honey in blender or food processor. Cover; blend on high speed about 1 minute or until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.

1 green tea bag
3/4 cup very hot water
1 cup fresh strawberries, halved, plus 1 sliced strawberry for garnish
1/4 cup lowfat milk
1/2 lime, juiced
1 tablespoon honey
6 fresh mint leaves

Steps:

  • Steep the tea bag for 2 minutes in the water. Remove the bag and allow the tea to cool. Pour the tea into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid, at least 2 hours.
  • Put the strawberries, milk, lime juice, honey and mint into a blender and blend until almost smooth. Add the green tea ice cubes and continue to blend until very smooth. Garnish with the sliced strawberry

I've been playing around with this recipe a lot... and I think I found the best way to do it. It's a great and healthy pick me up.

1 cup white tea (chilled)
1 cup honeydew melon, chunks
1 cup pineapple chunk
1 cup ice
2 teaspoons papaya nectar
honey or sugar

Steps:

  • Steep 2 white teabags in 1 cup boiling water and let chill in refrigerator OR chill with ice. (You can stir in sugar now or later).
  • Pour tea into blender.
  • Add the other ingredients and blend. I leave mine just a little chunky.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
