1 (13 1/4 ounce) box ronzoni healthy harvest penne rigate
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice
3 cups apples, chunks
2 cups chopped celery
2 cups raisins
1/2 cup reduced-calorie mayonnaise
1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • 1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • 2. Rinse with cold water to cool quickly; drain well.
  • 3. Drain pineapple; reserve 2 Tablespoons juice. Save remaining juice for beverage.
  • 4. Sprinkle reserved juice over apples; toss lightly.
  • 5. In large bowl, stir together pasta, pineapple and remaining ingredients except walnuts. Cover; refrigerate.
  • 6. Sprinkle with walnuts just before serving.

The first time i made this i did not know what it would taste like. I am usually not a big fan of pasta salad but i wanted something different. My coworkers and my family love it. It is very simple to make. My only thing is it was a little oily so i use less than the reccomended amount of oil on the pasta box. Hope you all...

1 box original suddenly salad pasta
1/2 c craisins
1/2 c dates
1/2 c golden raisins
1/2 c raisins
1 c chopped walnuts(or chopped pecans)

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare pasta salad as directed.
  • 2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pasta salad and toss.
  • 3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • 4. Serve and enjoy!
