1 tablespoon raisins
¼ cup chopped apple
1 tablespoon unsalted dry roasted peanuts
2 tablespoons strawberry jam
2 slices whole-grain bread

Steps:

  • Spread peanut butter on one side of a slice of bread, and sprinkle with chopped apple, raisins, and peanuts. Spread jam over the remaining slice of bread, and place on top of fruit and nuts to make a sandwich.

2 slices bread
8 teaspoons peanut butter
fruit (bests ones are apples, bananas, strawberries, and pears)

Steps:

  • Get the two slices of bread and toast them (don't burn the bread!)(optional).
  • Once the bread is crispy and warm, spread 4 teaspoonfuls of peanut butter on one slice and the other 4 teaspoons of peanut butter on the other slice.
  • Now cut the your fruits to thin slices and add them in your sandwich in any order.
  • Finally enjoy your sandwich with a nice cold cup of milk.

2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 can (about 9 oz) salted mixed nuts (1 1/2 cups)
1 cup quartered dried apricots
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/2 cup flaked coconut
2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. In large bowl, mix 2 cups flour, the brown sugar and butter with fork until crumbly. Press firmly in bottom of pan.
  • In same bowl, mix filling ingredients. Spoon onto crust; spread evenly.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely, about 45 minutes. For squares, cut into 8 rows by 6 rows.
