This is a great frozen summer drink that is very thirst quenching! Vodka may be used instead of gin.

2 cups white sugar
7 cups water
4 tea bags
2 cups boiling water
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups gin

Steps:

  • Put 7 cups water in large saucepan, and heat on high until boiling. Add sugar and stir until dissolved; set aside to cool. Place tea bags in 2 cups boiling water, and let steep until desired strength is acquired.
  • In a large bowl, mix together sugar water, tea, lemonade concentrate and orange juice concentrate. Stir in gin. Place in freezer container and freeze overnight.
  • To serve, Place several scoops into a tall glass, and fill with any clear carbonated beverage.

6 cups ice cubes, slightly crushed
3 cups cubed ripe pineapple
1 cup dark rum
1/4 cup honey
1 cup light coconut milk
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 cup fresh pineapple juice
Lime wedges
Pineapple chunks
Orange wedges
Mango slices
4 bamboo skewers, soaked in water
Cocktail umbrellas

Steps:

  • Place the crushed ice in a blender. Add the pineapple cubes, dark rum, honey, coconut milk, orange juice and pineapple juice to the blender. Pulse until the mixture reaches a slushie consistency, about 15 seconds or pulses. Skewer the garnishes on the soaked bamboo skewers.
  • Serve the slushie in chilled glasses with fruit skewers and top with umbrellas.

6 cups water, divided
5 medium ripe bananas
2 cups sugar
2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 can (46 ounces) unsweetened pineapple juice
3 bottles (2 liters each) lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • In a blender, process 1 cup of water, bananas and sugar until smooth. Pour into a large container; add the concentrates, pineapple juice and remaining water. Cover and freeze. , Remove from freezer 2 hours before serving. Just before serving, stir until slushy. Stir in soda. Serve immediately.
