Nibble on this easy-to-fix cream cheese appetizer until dinner is ready.

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
1/4 cup Old El Paso™ salsa (any variety)
1/4 cup apricot preserves
1/4 cup sliced ripe olive
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, if desired
Assorted crackers, if desired

Steps:

  • Place block of cream cheese on serving plate with shallow rim.
  • Mix salsa and preserves; spread over cream cheese. Sprinkle with olives and cilantro. Serve with crackers.

Number Of Ingredients 13

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tbsp. ketchup
- 1 can refried beans, 16 oz
- liquid hot pepper seasoning to taste
- 2 oz. sharp natural cheddar cheese, grated, about 1/2 cup
- sliced stuffed olives, optional
- ritz crackers

Steps:

  • Brown beef with next three ingredients; drain fat. Add next four ingredients. Mash in beans. Heat, stirring frequently. Add liquid hot pepper seasoning to taste. Garnish with cheese and if desired, sliced olives. Serve warm with Ritz crackers. Makes about 3 1/2 cups

2 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 jars (5 oz. each) KRAFT OLD ENGLISH Sharp Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chiles, undrained
1/2 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese and process cheese spread in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. Spoon into 9-inch pie plate; cover.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese, divided
1 pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped avocados
2 Tbsp. sliced black olives
1 Tbsp. chopped red peppers
2 thin wheat snack crackers
round buttery crackers

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese, 1/2 cup shredded cheese and seasoning mix; spread into Christmas tree shape on 10-inch plate. Top with sour cream to within 1/4 inch of edges. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese around edges. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Remove cheese spread from refrigerator about 15 min. before serving. Decorate with avocados, olives and peppers to resemble garland, lights and ornaments. Place crackers at bottom of tree for the trunk.
  • Serve with the round buttery crackers.

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup picante sauce
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
Dash garlic powder
1 can (4-1/2 ounces) chopped ripe olives, drained
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles
1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
8 flour tortillas (10 inches)
Salsa

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, picante sauce, taco seasoning and garlic powder until smooth. Stir in olives, chiles, cheese and onions. Spread about 1/2 cup on each tortilla. , Roll up jelly-roll style; wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Slice into 1-in. pieces. Serve with salsa.

(1)10.5oz package(s) corn chips, crushed
1/4 cup(s) butter, melted
(2) 16oz can(s) refried beans
(1)1.25oz package(s) taco seasoning mix
(1) 6 ounce(s) carton avocado dip
(1) 8 ounce(s) container sour cream
(3)3.25oz can(s) sliced ripe olives
2 - tomatoes, seeded and chopped
(2) 4.5oz can(s) chopped green chilies, drained
(1) 8oz package(s) monterey jack cheese with peppers, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine crushed corn chips and butter. Press into bottom and 1-inch up sides of a lightly greased 9" springform pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Combine refried beans and taco seasoning mix, stirring well.
  • Spread over prepared crust. Layer avocado dip and remaining 5 ingredients over refried bean mixture. Cover and chill 8 hours. Place on a serving plate,and remove sides of springform pan. Serve with large corn chips or tortilla chips.
