CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE BARS

2 sticks of butter (at room temperature)
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of firmly packed golden brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
3 cups of all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of mini chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
1 11.5 oz package of chocolate chunks
non stick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a 9x13 baking dish with foil, leave some overhang to make removal easier.
  • Spray foil generously with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy.
  • Add in eggs and vanilla extract and continue to beat.
  • Lower speed of mixer and add flour, baking soda and salt, and mix until combined.
  • Add 1 cup of chocolate chunks and 1 cup of mini chocolate chips and give a final stir, reserving some chocolate chunks and mini chocolate chips for topping cookie bars.
  • Transfer cookie dough to prepared baking dish.
  • Press remaining chocolate chunks and a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips into top of cookie dough.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes on middle rack of oven.
  • Let cool completely and cut.

3/4 cup butter, melted
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 package (10 ounces) miniature semisweet chocolate chips, divided

Steps:

  • Combine cookie crumbs and butter; pat onto the bottom of an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. , In a microwave, heat milk and 1 cup chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with remaining chips., Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until chips begin to melt but do not lose their shape. Cool on a wire rack.

1-1/3 cups BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine graham crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Pour condensed milk over crust; top with layers of remaining ingredients. Press nuts lightly into coconut layer.
  • Bake 30 min. or until lightly browned. Immediately run knife around edge of pan to loosen dessert from sides of pan. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Butter, water and egg called for on double chocolate chunk cookie mix pouch
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Make sugar cookie dough as directed on pouch for drop cookies. Stir in 1/4 cup of the candy sprinkles. Press dough evenly in bottom of pan.
