Such a delightful baked chicken dish. So easy and so good.

6-8 boneless, skinless, thin chicken breast filets
6-8 slice raw bacon
2 oz jar armor dried beef
1 c sour cream
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
paprika, to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Rinse chicken & pat dry. Either grease a baking dish or line baking pan with foil and spray.
  • 2. Place 1 slice of dried beef on top of each filet. Now place 1 bacon slice over each filet & secure with toothpick. (Do not use colored toothpicks...it will discolor chicken). Arrange each filet in a greased baking dish.
  • 3. Mix soup & sour cream together and spoon over filets and sprinkle paprika.
  • 4. Bake @350 for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until done.

2 packages frozen chopped broccoli, cooked
2 cups cubed cooked chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup hellman mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray a 2 qt.
  • baking dish with Pam.
  • Put broccoli in bottom of pan.
  • Mix soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and curry.
  • Spread on top of broccoli.
  • Layer chicken on top of soup mixture.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Mix crumbs and butter and sprinkle over cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes until hot.

This is so easy! I use it when I'm having people over for dinner because it can easily be doubled to feed a large gathering or dinner party. Once you put it in the oven, you can forget about it for 2 hours and move on to something else. It's always a huge hit with our guests! Serve over rice and enjoy!

1 (2 ounce) package chipped beef
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 pound sliced bacon
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
½ teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
  • Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with slices of chipped beef. Wrap bacon slices around chicken breasts, and place on top of chipped beef. In a medium bowl, mix together condensed soup and sour cream. Pour sour cream mixture over chicken breasts, and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 2 hours.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/3 cup dried breadcrumbs
7 teaspoons flour, divided
9 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons margarine
2 teaspoons oil
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup canned chicken broth
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 ounce provolone cheese, cut into strips

Steps:

  • In a shallow bowl or on a paper plate, combine the bread crumbs and 2 Tbsp of flour; dip chicken into egg, making sure all sides are coated, then dredge in crumb mixture.
  • Repeat process, being sure to cover the chicken entirely.
  • In a 10 inch nonstick skillet, combine the margarine and oil.
  • Heat over a medium heat until the margarine is bubbly and hot.
  • Add chicken and cook, turning once, until both sides are lightly browned and chicken is cooked through, 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  • To the same skillet add the mushrooms and saute until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes; sprinkle with remaining teaspoon of flour and stir quickly to combine.
  • Add broth and wine.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, about 1 minute.
  • Return chicken to skillet and top evenly with cheese; cover and cook until cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
