Creamy frosting made with cream cheese and fresh strawberries. Perfect topping on a strawberry cake, white chocolate, lemon, or white cake. Also would be great for dipping strawberries in to eat!

1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (such as Philadelphia®), softened
½ cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted

Steps:

  • Puree strawberries in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  • Combine cream cheese and butter in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Blend in vanilla extract. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold in strawberry puree until frosting is desired flavor and consistency.

Quick and Easy Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting image

I needed an easy strawberry frosting to frost my daughter's birthday cake. I used the same cream cheese frosting recipe my mom used to make for my cakes when I was a kid and just tossed in the gelatin. This works well for frosting or as a filler between cake layers. Keep refrigerated.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
½ cup butter, softened
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry-flavored gelatin (such as Jell-O®)
¼ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Combine cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, butter, gelatin, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl using an electric mixer on low speed. Continue to mix, pausing to scrap sides down as needed, until frosting is evenly mixed and fluffy.
