This is homemade hot cocoa that takes just over a minute to make. Uses baking cocoa and milk. It comes from the Nestle website.

2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking cocoa
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a cup mix sugar and cocoa. Add enough milk to make a paste. Add the rest of the milk and microwave on high for one minute or until hot. Stir in vanilla extract.

2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 miniature marshmallows (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix all dry ingredients (Exclude cinnamon) together in small, separate bowl.
  • Fill milk in coffee-mug.
  • Add cinnamon to milk, and heat to taste.
  • After heated, stir until cinnamon is dissolved.
  • After that, add dry ingredients, and stir.
  • Finally, after all dry ingredients are stirred, add vanilla extract.
  • To top it off, add some marshmallows! (Optional).

1 cup milk
2 tablespoons powdered cocoa mix (I used Ovaltine) or 2 tablespoons powdered chocolate milk mix (I used Ovaltine)
1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon coffee creamer
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
chocolate syrup
whipped cream

Steps:

  • Heat milk to your desired temperature.
  • While milk is being heated, mix hot cocoa mix, creamer, and cinnamon sugar in bowl.
  • Add small squirt or about 1/4 teaspoon of chocolate syrup to dry mix.
  • Add same amount of syrup again, or enough so that dry mix becomes lumps.
  • Add Confectioner's sugar and cocoa powder to mix (doesn't have to be as lumpy anymore).
  • Pour mix into mug and pour milk on top.
  • Add whipped cream and extra chocolate syrup.
  • ENJOY!
