1 (12 ounce) can semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
3 large eggs
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Steps:

  • PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • MELT 1 cup morsels and butter in large, heavy-duty saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in eggs.
  • Stir in flour, sugar, vanilla extract and baking soda.
  • Stir in remaining morsels and nuts.
  • Spread into prepared baking pan.
  • BAKE for 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky.
  • Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Found this recipe on the back of "Nestlé Chocolate Chip" package about 25 years ago. Like my other recipes, this is a keeper. Very easy and so good.

1 stick butter ( 1/2 cup) cut into small pieces
3 eggs
1-1/4 c all-purpose flour
1 c sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan.

4 ounces semisweet chocolate, broken into pieces
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup turbinado sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg white
1/4 cup prune puree
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup oat flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line bottom and sides of an 8-inch square baking pan with foil, leaving a 2-inch overhang.
  • Combine chocolate and oil in a medium heat-proof bowl. Set bowl over a pan of simmering water; stir until chocolate has melted. Remove from heat; whisk in sugar, egg, egg white, prune puree, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour and cocoa. Stir into chocolate mixture just until incorporated.
  • Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake until top is firm and a toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few moist crumbs, 40 to 45 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Using foil, lift brownies from pan. Peel off foil. Using a serrated knife, cut into 12 rectangles.

I have lost this receipe at least two times so I am putting it here so as to not loose it again. This is the best brownie receipe I have ever tried---hope you agree. Have had it for over 25 years.

cooking spray
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray 9X13 pan with cooking spray.
  • Heat margarine and 1 c chocolate chips in sauce pan over low heat stirring until melted.
  • Stir in sugar, flour, vanilla and eggs until smooth.
  • Stir in remaining chocolate chips.
  • Spread in pan and sprinkle with walnuts if desired.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until center is set (about 30 mins).
