A simple plate of pasta coated in a tangy, savory Parmesan lemon sauce is the perfect, easy dinner recipe made in less than 20 minutes!

500 g (1lb) pasta of your choice
1 tbsp butter
3-4 garlic cloves (crushed )
1 cup cream ((heavy / whipping cream) )
2 tbsp sour cream
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
zest of 1 lemon
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese ((use a vegetarian alternative if preferred) )
1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
salt and pepper (to taste )

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook until al dente.
  • While the water comes to a boil and the pasta cooks, make the sauce.
  • Melt the butter in a pan set over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and allow to cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the cream, sour cream, lemon juice and zest.
  • Bring to a simmer and cook for a few minutes or until the sauce coats the back of a spoon.
  • Reduce the heat then add the Parmesan and parsley. Stir in then season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Drain the pasta, reserving 1 cup of cooking water. Add the pasta to the sauce, along with a few spoonfuls of pasta water and toss until the pasta is coated in the sauce and the sauce is creamy. You might need to add more water as the pasta absorbs the sauce and the sauce thickens.
  • Serve scattered with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan.

2 1/2 cups uncooked dried gemelli pasta
6 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter
3 cups broccoli florets
1 cup Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream
1 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
6 ounces cooked chicken strips
1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in 4-quart saucepan according to package directions. Drain; return to saucepan. Keep warm.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until sizzling; add broccoli. Cook, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until crisply tender.
  • Place whipping cream and remaining butter in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted. Stir in Parmesan cheese 5-6 minutes or until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Pour Parmesan sauce over pasta; add broccoli, chicken, bacon and garlic salt. Gently stir until well mixed.
  • Spoon into serving dish. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for the baking dish
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 pound medium shell pasta
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cups freshly grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
6 ounces pancetta, finely chopped
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups whole milk
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups frozen peas, thawed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with butter; set aside.
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and salt generously. Cook the pasta according to the package directions for al dente. Drain, transfer to a large bowl and set aside.

2 cups milk
3 tablespoons flour
cracked pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Set aside the flavor packet and boil the noodles according the instructions on the packet (usually 3 minutes).
  • Drain and set aside.
