This is a quick dip that I made that everyone absolutely loves. It goes well with crackers are veggies and there's never any left over!

1 lb imitation crabmeat
1/2 lb shrimp, cooked and shelled
1/2 head garlic, peeled
3 tablespoons dried parsley
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • Put crabmeat, parsley, and garlic in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Chop shrimp by hand and add to crabmeat mixture in separate bowl. Add mayo, sour cream, and mustard and mix together until blended. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Yield serves fifteen people as an appetizer

1 pound of chopped up cooked shrimp (crab also if you prefer))
1 large bar of creme cheese
fresh parsley
homemade chili sauce (or cocktail sauce of your choice)
1 cup of scallions
extra horseradish to add to sauce if needed

Steps:

  • chop shrimp up in bite size bits, add 2 cups of prepared cocktail sauce (I make mine from ketchup, horseradish and hot sauce)..chop scallions into a dice...get a large platter, put creme cheese bar(softened, at room temp) in middle of plate, top with cocktail sauce and scatter scallions all over...surround with toast points, crackers and veggies of your choice...a croud pleaser
