EASY PANETTONE BREAD PUDDING WITH WARM BRANDY SAUCE
A wonderful & impressive finale to your Thanksgiving or Christmas feast! Guests will be impressed and think you slaved all day in the kitchen- - but this recipe is a breeze to prepare with a storebought Panetonne bread! You could easily sub brioche or stollen for the panettone bread, and add in some brandy soaked golden raisins or glace fruit, if you wish. Serve the pudding warm or at room temperature, drizzled with the lovely warm buttered brandy-cream sauce....... Delicious! Recipe adapted from 'Baron's Marketplace'.

Steps:
- Melt 1/2 stick butter in 9 x 13-inch glass baking pan.
- Take Panettone bread that has been cut in 2x2-inch squares and press into the buttered dish.
- Mix all other ingredients (except the pecans) in a bowl, stirring to combine well, and pour evenly over the cut up Panettone.
- Sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Brandy Sauce:.
- Place all brandy sauce ingredients in sauce pan.
- Heat gently and stir often. Don't over cook- only about 5 minutes.
- Scoop bread pudding into twelve individual serving dishes, drizzle 2 spoonfuls of warm brandy sauce over top of each serving. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Toast walnuts 8-10 minutes at 350°.
- Reduce oven heat to 325°.
- Grease 11x7x2-inch baking pan and set aside.
- Place eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, allspice in large bowl and stir until well mixed.
- Add apples, raisins, bread cubes, and toasted walnuts; toss to combine.
- Spread mixture in prepared pan.
- Bake 35 minutes, or until firm.
- To make Easy Eggnog Sauce:.
- Whisk eggnog into cornstarch in a small saucepan.
- Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.
- Remove from heat, stir in extracts, cool 5 minutes.
- Serve with bread pudding.

- Pudding:.
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a large bowl mix bread cubes and raisins so they are well dispersed.
- drizzle melted butter onto of bread and raisins.
- In a separate bowl mix beaten eggs, milk, whipping cream, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until well incorporated.
- Add egg mixture to bread and fold until bread is well soaked.
- Turn bread mixture into a well greased casserole or baking dish, using spatula spread mixture out evenly in pan.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Check center with toothpick for doneness. If toothpick does not come out clean bake additional 3 minutes.
- Sauce:.
- Add milk, cream, vanilla and sugar to saucepan and heat over medium low heat stirring often just until it begins to boil. Remove from heat.
- In a small mixing bowl whisk corn starch to amaretto until there are no lumps.
- Add amaretto mixture to saucepan and whisk over low heat until sauce thickens and is smooth - about 2 minutes.
- Sauce should be served warm. Sauce can be stored for up to 3 days ahead.

- Peel the onion and remove the root. Make 12 holes in the onion using a cocktail stick, and push the cloves into the holes.
- Put the onion in a medium saucepan with the bay leaves, peppercorns and milk. Heat gently for 20 mins until the onion is soft, then pour the milk through a sieve into a clean pan and discard the bay, onion and peppercorns.
- Heat the infused milk until just simmering, then add the flour, breadcrumbs, butter and nutmeg. Cook for 5 mins more until the sauce has thickened, then add the cream and season well. Can be made up to two days ahead. Reheat gently on the hob before serving.

EASY BREAD AND SAUCE

- Cut Bread into 1"to 1 1/2" slices line in the bottom of the lightly greased pan. Brown hamburger meat with the garlic and spices. Set aside. Then in a sauce pan or If sauce is from a can or jar prepare and put in with the meat. Poor over Bread. Sprinkle With Cheese. Cover & Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until you can hear it bubbling. And Serve.
