The doctor of the beans is in da' house! Easy. You can use ordinary canned pork and beans in this, but doctor it up to be like brown sugar baked beans.

28 ounces baked beans (bush's best baked beans with brown sugar)
10 ounces crushed pineapple in juice (about 1 cup)
1/4 cup brown sugar style barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons grated ginger
1 teaspoon light molasses

Steps:

  • Stir together and cook over low heat or on top of grill in a heat proof pan until thickened as desired.

4 cups chopped onion
1 package (2 pounds) dark brown sugar
2 pounds cubed fully cooked ham
1 bottle (28 ounces) ketchup
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup prepared mustard
1/3 cup vinegar

Steps:

  • In several large bowls, combine all the ingredients. Divide among four greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pans. , Cover tightly; bake at 350° for 1-1/2 hours. Uncover and bake 20-30 minutes more or until bubbly.

1 (15 ounce) can marinated bean salad, drained
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
