1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup dill pickle relish, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • Beat first six ingredients until smooth. Shape into a ball; wrap in plastic. Refrigerate several hours. Sprinkle with parsley; serve with crackers.

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
½ cup diced dill pickles
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
½ cup chopped pecans
½ cup finely chopped parsley
4 sprigs fresh parsley, or to taste

Steps:

  • Mix Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, dill pickles, green onions, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard together in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
  • Mix pecans and parsley together in a shallow bowl. Shape cream cheese mixture into a ball and roll in pecans and parsley. Arrange parsley sprigs around the cheese ball.

I got this recipe years ago from a grocery store that was featuring Kraft products. A "make ahead" crowd pleaser. I always have lots of requests for this recipe--and easy to make. For a Hawaiian taste use macadamia nuts instead of walnuts.

1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped bick pickle
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Combine first 6 ingredients, beating until smooth.
  • Cover and chill until firm or over night.
  • Shape into a ball and roll in mixture of nuts and parsley.
