DEEP FRIED OREOS®
This is a carnival favorite where I grew up. Oreos get dipped into pancake batter and fried - yummy!! You can do this with or without a deep fryer.

Steps:
- Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Whisk together the egg, milk, and 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a bowl until smooth. Stir in the pancake mix until no dry lumps remain. Dip the cookies into the batter one at a time, and carefully place into the hot frying oil. Fry only 4 or 5 at a time to avoid overcrowding the deep fryer. Cook until the cookies are golden-brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate before serving.

DEEP FRIED OREOS
I had these at a local county fair and just had to try to make them. They are delicious. You can substitute your favorite dry pancake mix for the Bisquick. They are best when eaten warm. If you are want to try a lighter version, use lowfat milk, canola oil, and reduced fat Oreos.

LES' DEEP FRIED OREOS
My nephew made these and they are soooo good! The batter is traditionally for funnel cake, so it's a little sweeter than pancake mix used in other recipes. These are better warm, as the coating will get soft if left to get cold. When he made these, he used two pkgs of Oreos and they disappeared at warp speed! Chocolate Oreos...

Steps:
- 1. Preheat deep fryer to 375°F.
- 2. In large bowl, mix the milk and eggs. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt & sugar. Combine with the milk mixture. Beat to make smooth batter.
- 3. Using tongs or a fork, dip Oreos into the batter and let excess drip off. Carefully place in deep fryer, a few at a time. Cookies take about a minute or so to cook; turn gently to make sure both sides turn a light golden brown.
- 4. When done, carefully remove with slotted spoon and place on paper-towel-lined tray to remove excess oil. Put cookies, a few at a time in a bowl oro small bag of powdered sugar, shake gently. Serve warm.
- 5. Note: This batter is for funnel cakes, so if you want to use it that way, you can! Just test consistency; if it runs out of funnel too fast, add a little more flour; too thick, add a little more milk.
DEEP FRIED OREOS
I make these all the time as desserts. Double stuffed are my favorite to use.

Steps:
- 1. Heat your oil while you are getting the ingredients and mixing them so that the Oreo's don't get soggy.
- 2. Mix together the Bisquick, egg, and milk (or water) until it reaches pancake consistency. Then dip 2-3 oreos into the batter and coat well. After you have coated them, put them into the oil and wait until they get golden brown, then flip them.
- 3. After they are all done, sprinkle with powdered sugar to your likings.
