Very simple and quick dinner when dressed up with a tossed salad. This recipe was modified from one out of a Weight Watcher's cookbook. Feel free to vary what you add to the pizza.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 (15 ounce) can chunky Italian-style tomato sauce
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
cooking spray
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Cook meat and onion in a large non-stick skillet until browned.
  • Drain.
  • Return to skillet and add tomato sauce and mushrooms until heated through.
  • While the meat mixture is cooking, coat a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Unroll pizza crust dough and press into the bottom and halfway up the sides of the baking dish.
  • Top bottom of pizza crust with meat mixture.
  • Bake, uncovered at 425°F for 12 minutes.
  • Top with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is browned.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

1 pkg. (12 oz.) VELVEETA Shells & Cheese Dinner
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 green pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup CLASSICO Traditional Pizza Sauce
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Prepare Dinner as directed on package. While Macaroni is cooking, brown meat with peppers and onions in large skillet; drain. Stir in pizza sauce.
  • Spoon Dinner into 8-inch square baking dish; top with meat mixture and mozzarella. Cover.
  • Bake 20 min. or until heated through.

Another one from my mom. Incredibly good, incredibly easy, reheats well...what more can you ask for? I'm not fond of chunky tomato sauce, so I just get plain and spice it up with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 (15 ounce) can chunky Italian-style tomato sauce
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
6 slices mozzarella cheese, divided (It's much easier to just buy them this way at the store than try to get even slices)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Cook meat until brown and done. Drain, if necessary. Return to skillet.
  • Add tomato sauce and cook until heated.
  • Spray non-stick cooking spray into a 13x9x2 baking dish. Unroll pizza dough and press onto bottom and halfway up the sides of the dish.
  • Line bottom of crust with 3 slices mozzarella. Top with meat mixture.
  • Bake UNCOVERED for 12 minutes.
  • Top with remaining 3 slices and bake 5 more minutes or until crust is brown.
  • Cool for 5 minutes, then serve!

1 lb 95% lean ground beef
15 oz can tomato sauce
Oregano to taste
Onion Powder to taste
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes to taste
Cooking Spray
8 oz mushrooms, sliced or chopped
10 oz can refrigerated pizza crust dough
6 oz shredded reduced fat mozzarella

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 425 2. Cook meat (seasoned with oregano, onion powder & crushed red pepper flakes to taste) in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, stirring until it crumbles. Add mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are browned a bit as well. Add tomato sauce and cook until heated. 3. While meat cooks, coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Unroll pizza crust dough and press into bottom and halfway up the sides of baking dish. Sprinkle half the cheese over the bottom of the crust. Top with meat mixture. 4. Bake uncovered in the oven at 425 for 12 minutes. Remove and top with remaining cheese. Put casserole back in the oven for 5 additional minutes or until crust is browned and cheese is melted. Cool 5 minutes before serving. Yields 6 servings. I have had this recipe for years and my family just loves it! I sometimes add a can of mushrooms to it. it is very tasty.

1 pound(s) sausage
1 jar(s) pizza sauce (large jar)
1 package(s) macaroni noodles
YOU WILL ALSO NEED YOUR FAVORITE TOPPINGS

Steps:

  • Crumble ground beef and sausage and fry. Drain meats. Boil your macaroni noodles and drain. Then mix your jar of pizza sauce with the ground beef and sausage. Add your noodles to the mixture and place in a casserole dish. Then add your favorite toppings such as pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, canadian bacon, ham, onions, bell pepper, etc. Then top with mozarella cheese and bake at 350 until bubbly and cheese has melted. Serve with garlic bread and salad.
