CLAUDIA LAMASCOLO
These Jack Daniels sandwiches are barbecued meat using either pork, beef or chicken to make a fabulous sandwich with. The meat is fork-tender and slow-cooked in a whiskey and root beer or choice of soda then drenched with a delicious homemade barbecue sauce all stacked on a grilled hard roll.

- Drain off most of the juice.
- Shred the meat with two forks or use a meat claw shredder.
- Add the homemade sauce recipe for Jack Daniels or barbecue sauce your favorite store-bought barbecue sauce.

- Sliced the buns open, brush them lightly with olive oil or butter
- Grill until lightly toasted then brush the tops with minced fresh garlic or granulated garlic powder with dried parsley on top.
- Fill the buns with the meat, adding more sauce if needed and top with pickles if using.
