This one pot meal makes my life easier. I usually serve it with greens beans or peas to round out the meal.

6 lean pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (26 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, brown chops in oil on both sides; set aside and keep warm.
  • In a bowl, combine the potatoes, cheese, soup, milk, sour cream seasoned salt and pepper.
  • Transfer to a greased 5-qt. slow cooker; top with pork chops.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until meat juices run clear.

Number Of Ingredients 10

6 -8 boneless pork chops
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup country dijon-style mustard
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
6 potatoes, sliced
1 onion

Steps:

  • In skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil.
  • Drain fat.
  • In your crock pot, mix soup, chicken broth, mustard, thyme, garlic, and pepper.
  • Add potatoes and onion, stirring to coat.
  • Place browned pork chops on tops of potato mixture.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High 4 to 5 hours.
  • Serve with salad or side dish of your choice.( I place some of the sauce on top of the pork chops when I served these).

This is one of my husbands favorite Sunday lunches. I just put it on the night before and wake up to such a wonderful aroma.

4-6 pork chops
4-6 potatoes
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 can(s) cream of onion soup
1/2 can(s) milk
butter
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Spray your crock pot with cooking spray. Peel and slice your potatoes thinly. Put one layer of potatoes in the bottom of the crock pot. Salt and pepper, then put a couple of pats of butter. Add the next layer of potatoes. Repeating the process. Salt and pepper you pork chops and place them on top of the potatoes. Combine the soups and milk, then pour them over the top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
