This hearty slow cooked pasta dinner combines ham, linguini noodles and frozen sweet peas with a creamy cheese sauce.

12 oz uncooked linguine
3 cups half-and-half
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (8 oz)
1 cup frozen sweet peas (from 12-oz bag), thawed
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
12 oz lean cooked ham steak, chopped
1 container (10 oz) refrigerated Alfredo pasta sauce

Steps:

  • Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In 4-quart saucepan, cook linguine 5 minutes in boiling water; drain. Place linguine in slow cooker. Add half-and- half, 1 cup of the cheese, the peas, mustard, ham and Alfredo sauce; stir gently to blend. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 hours or until linguine is tender.

1 cup cubed, cooked ham
½ cup cubed Cheddar cheese
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ (10.75 ounce) can milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Place the noodles, ham, cheese, soup and milk in a 9x9 inch casserole dish and mix well.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes.

My family is not big on ham but I love it. This is a good recipe to make and freeze the left overs into single serve portions. I also added a small amount of chopped onions and some black pepper and extra cheese because I love cheese =)

1 cup noodles, uncooked
vegetable oil
1 cup ham, cubed
10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup green peppers or 1/4 cup red pepper, chopped

Steps:

  • Cook noodles according to package directions until barely tender (I cook approximately 5 to 6 minutes).
  • Drain and toss with just enough oil to coat.
  • Add noodles and remaining ingredients to a greased crock pot or use a crock pot liner, and stir to mix.
  • Cover. Cook on Low for 7 to 9 hours.

2 Cups Water

1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Mustard
1 Pound Diced Ham
2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 Ounces Cream Cheese (Softened)
1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Sour Cream

Steps:

  • Add rotini pasta into the insert of the Crock-Pot Express Multi-Cooker.
  • Add chicken broth, water, hot sauce (if using), garlic powder, salt, pepper and ground mustard. Stir to combine.
  • Place lid on appliance and lock into place, making sure the valve is set to sealing.
  • Set on MANURAL, HIGH PRESSURE for 5 minutes.
  • Allow the pressure cooker to come to pressure and cook the pasta for the allotted 5 minutes.
  • When the time is up, do a quick release of pressure by carefully turning the pressure valve to release the pressure.
  • Carefully remove the lid and set aside.
  • Stir in the diced ham, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, milk and sour cream until the all the cheese is melted.
  • Serve and enjoy!

1 lb elbow noodles
1 can evaporated milk
1 stick of butter
1 egg, beaten
5 cups of cheese, 1/2 sharp, 1/2 mild
2 cups regular milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Ham chunks (I just ask the deli people to cut one 1/2 inch thick slice of ham and cut it into chunks.

Steps:

  • Boil noodles till almost done in in pot, drain Take 1/2 stick of butter and cut small pieces in bottom of crock pot. Add noodles, the stir in evaporated milk, rest of butter, egg, milk, ham, and 4 cups of cheese. Cook on low 4 hours, or high on 2 1/2. One hour before time ends, add remainder cheese on top
