EASIEST CROCK POT CHICKEN AND BISCUITS
I found this recipe in a Women's Day Magazine entilted Slow Cooking. I added a few more spices to kick up the flavor a little bit. This is a true comfort food

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in crock pot except biscuits; blend well.
- Cut biscuits into quarters, stir into mixture.
- Cover; cook on Low 4 to 6 hours stirring occsionally or until biscuits are cooked.

- 1. Place the chicken breast on the bottom of a 5 or 6-quart slow cooker. Top with soup, butter, vegetables, onion powder, salt, pepper and onion. ( I sometimes just use 2 cups of mixed frozen vegetables in place of the peas and carrots.) Pour the chicken broth over the soup mixture. The chicken should be covered; if not, add more broth. Place the cover on the slow cooker and turn on high. Cook on high for 5 to 6 hours. Approximately 1 hour before serving, remove the cover and pull the chicken apart in small pieces or shred. Tear the refrigerator biscuit dough into pieces and place it on top of the chicken mixture in the slow cooker. Replace the cover and cook another hour or until the biscuits are done all the way through. ( you can also take the liner out of the cooker and bake at 400 degrees, until biscuits are cooked. I sometimes do this if in a hurry.)

- Thaw chicken breasts and place in crock pot. Add butter, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth and onions. Cook on high 4 to 6 hours or on low for 8 hours. Once the chicken has cooked for the proper amount of time, cut each biscuit into small pieces (approximately 9 each). Add the biscuits and continue to cook 30 minutes to an hour longer, or until the biscuits are done. Remove chicken and shred with a fork. Once shredded, place chicken back into crockpot and mix. Serve hot.

- 1. Chop chicken into 1 inch cubes. 2. Add chicken to crock pot with soup, butter, milk, onion, salt and pepper. 3. Cook on low for 4 hours. An hour before it is done taste to check for seasoning. Stir in vegetables and tear up biscuits and add to the top. Turn up crock pot to high and cover. Cook until biscuits are done. *You can transfer the pan of the crock pot to the oven and cook at 400 degrees until biscuits are done and brown*

- Spray bottom of crock pot with butter spray. Layer onion, chicken, salt, pepper and soup in bottom of pot, add water to cover chicken, cover and cook on high 5 to 6 hours. 45 minutes before done cut biscuits in quarters and dredge in flour. Add the corn to chicken and mix in. Add biscuits and flour to pot, spoon gravy over, cover and cook for remaining 45 minutes.
