I adapted this from "Fix-It and Forget-It - Slow Cooker Favorites" Cook Book. Easy to prepare and delicious. With a salad and dinner rolls it makes a complete and filling dinner.

4 skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup or 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
6 ounces seasoned stuffing mix
1 cup water
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup frozen green beans, thawed

Steps:

  • Place chicken in crock pot.
  • Combine cream soup and chicken broth and spoon over chicken.
  • Top with potatoes.
  • Combine stuffing mix, water, butter and spoon over potatoes.
  • Cover crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • Sprinkle green beans over stuffing.
  • Cover and cook on low for another hour.

This is really good. Fixes that holiday meal craving with all the fixings. I usually serve with whatever veggie I feel like or have on hand. Peas is a favorite.

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 potatoes, sliced
1 lb pork tenderloin or 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup chicken broth
1 (10 ounce) can low-fat cream of celery soup
1 (10 ounce) can beef gravy
2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder

Steps:

  • Spray crockpot with Pam.
  • Place sliced potatoes in crockpot and sprinkle with salt and stir.
  • Place pork on top of potatoes and pour half of the chicken broth over top of meat and potatoes. Sprinkle meat with salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder, to taste.
  • Mix the soup and gravy together and pour over top.
  • Place stuffing on top of all and drizzle with remaining chicken broth to moisten.
  • If meat is frozen, cook on high for 2 hours, then low for 6 hours. If meat is defrosted or fresh, cook on low for 8 hours.
