1 1/2 lbs beef sirloin, cut in pieces
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 (10 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sour cream
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Brown beef tips in vegetable oil and place in crock pot. In same saucepan, sautee onions and place on top of beef tips.
  • Add mushroom soup, worcestershire sauce and water to same saucepan. Heat and stir to mix. Add to crock pot.
  • Turn crock pot to high for 1 hour and turn to low for 4 to 5 hours. Add sour cream during last 15 minutes and stir.
  • Note: Cream of mushroom soup will add some salty flavor. At end of cook time do a taste test and if too salty, add about 3-4 tablespoons of water which will dilute saltiness.

1 package onion and mushroom soup mix (I use Mrs. Grass)

1 (10 1/2 ounce) can Healthy Request cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package onion soup mix
21 ounces water (2 soup cans water)
1 tablespoon minced garlic clove
pepper (to taste)
1 1/2 cups brown rice
16 ounces frozen peas

Steps:

  • 1. Place stew beef in crock pot.
  • 2. Pour mushroom soup and onion soup mix on top of beef.
  • 3. Add 2 soup cans of water.
  • 4. Add garlic and pepper.
  • 5. Mix all ingredients in crock pot.
  • 6. Cook on high for 1 hour and then lower setting to low, cook an additional 3 hours. Or cook on low for 6-8 hours. I cook on high for an hour to speed up the cooking process, because I usually don't remember to start dinner until lunch time.
  • 7. Add rice and peas. If you are short in time, you can cook rice and peas separately, and then serve.
  • 8. Cook an additional 2 hours.
  • 9. Enjoy!

10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup (healthy request or low fat)
1 1/4 oz. onion soup mix (dry)
1 oz. mushroom gravy mix or beef gravy mix
3/4 c. beef broth (if desired, mix with burgundy wine)
1 c. fresh mushrooms (sliced)
1/2 onion (chopped)
12 oz. egg noodles (wide)

Steps:

  • 1.Place beef in the slow cooker. 2.Combine mushroom soup, onion soup mix and gravy mix in a bowl until well blended. Stir in beef broth. 3.Add mushrooms and onions to mixture, then pour over beef. 4.Cover. Cook on Low for 5 to 6 hours, or on High for 3 to 4 hours. 5.Cook egg noodles according to directions on package. 6.Serve over egg noodles (wide) or of your choice.

garlic powder
salt
flour
oil

Steps:

  • 1. Cut Chuck Roast into bite size pieces
  • 2. Season meat with garlic powder and salt
  • 3. Coat meat with flour
  • 4. Heat oil in skillet
  • 5. Fry flour coated meat in pan until lightly browned
  • 6. Place browned meat in crock pot
  • 7. Once, all meat is browned. Use left over flour and brown it in the left over oil.
  • 8. Pour browned flour in crock pot
  • 9. Add enough water to barely cover the meat
  • 10. Cook on low for 8 hours or cook on high for 4 hours. Stir every couple of hours
  • 11. When the meat is done, cook rice according to package.
  • 12. Serve with Beef Tips covering the rice.

2 lb beef tips or stew meat
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 tsp thyme, dried
1/2 tsp oregano, dried
1/4 tsp clove, ground
4 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
5 - 6 oz mushroom pieces, fresh or canned
1 can(s) mushroom soup, condensed
1 c dry red wine (i used merlot)
2 c beef broth or water
salt and pepper, to taste
1 c sour cream
10 oz egg noodles, uncooked
cooking spray

Steps:

  • 1. Spray crock pot with cooking spray, I used canola.
  • 2. Add first 11 ingredients to crock pot in order listed. Turn on high and cook for one hour. After one hour, stir ingredients thoroughly. Continue to cook on high for 3.5 more hours.
  • 3. After a total of 4.5 hours on high, stir in sour cream to blend throughout mixture. Then add egg noodles, ensuring they are covered by liquid. Add more water, if necessary. Adjust salt and pepper, as needed. Cook an additional 30 minutes on high, until noodles are tender. Plate and enjoy!
  • 4. NOTE: For those of you that do not cook with wine, you can substitute 1/2 - 3/4 cup beef broth (or water) and 2 - 3 Tbsp each of lemon juice and balsamic vinegar. Can be cooked on low setting for 6 - 8 hours. Add sour cream and noodles for last 45 minutes of cooking time.

2 lbs cubed lean stewing beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 (1 1/3 ounce) package roasted garlic gravy mix, for steaks
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 cups water
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic, fresh minced
1 fennel bulb, diced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/4 cup red wine, a good one that you drink
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
2 bay leaves

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Saute the onion and fennel bulb until translucent; then remove and place all in crock pot.
  • Add stew meat, dusted lightly in flour and cook on high heat until meat is browned on all sides (3-5 minutes).
  • Transfer beef tips to crock-pot.
  • Pour water, red wine, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce into the crock pot, over the beef, onions, and fennel.
  • Stir in garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to boil in crock pot on high heat for approx 30 minutes and then reduce heat to low setting.
  • Next, combine the gravy mix with can of mushroom soup, mix thoroughly and add to all, include the 2 bay leaves.
  • Cover and simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
  • Serve over egg noodles.

1 1/2 lbs beef chuck roast
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning (optional)
1 (2 ounce) package lipton dry onion soup mix
1 (14 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (14 ounce) can low sodium beef broth

Steps:

  • In a five quart slow cooker, combine dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup & beef broth. Whisk to combine (don't worry if there are any lumps; they will come out as it cooks.
  • Cut beef into about 1.5 inch cubes (or use pre-cut beef tips). Sprinkle lemon pepper seasoning on beef.
  • Add meat to crock pot and give it a good stir.
  • Cover and cook on low for at least 6-8 hours.
  • Once ready, work on gravy if you'd like it thicker. In a medium pot, melt two tbls butter. Once melted, add in about 3 heaping tbls of flour. Whisk it together until smooth.
  • Pour in 2 cups of the beef broth mixture into the butter/flour mixture. Whisk until smooth and bring the heat up to high. Once it reaches desired thickness, take off heat and return gravy to crock pot.
  • Serve over rice, noodles, or whatever strikes your fancy!

1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 lbs sirloin tip steaks
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
2 cups sliced mushrooms
10 1/2 ounces condensed beef broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons tomato paste or 2 tablespoons ketchup
1/4 cup dry red wine
3 tablespoons flour
buttered noodles

Steps:

  • In a plastic bag, combine 1/2 cup flour with the salt and pepper; toss with beef cubes to coat thoroughly. Place beef cubes in crock pot.
  • Place chopped green pepper and sliced mushrooms on top of beef cubes.
  • In a large pyrex measuring cup, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste or ketchup. Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well.

1 - family size can campbell's cream of mushroom soup
2 - regular cans campbell's french onion soup
2 - regular cans campbell's cream of celery soup
2 teaspoon(s) beef boullion granules
3 teaspoon(s) montreal steak seasoning
2 - packages fresh baby bella mushrooms
1 - 1 pound(s) bag baby carrots

Steps:

  • Cook your beef tips in a heated pan just to brown the outsides.
  • Dump the beef tips in the crock pot with the cans of soup. Stir.
  • Cook on high for 5 hours or low for at least 8 hours. (If you want to put in veggies like mushrooms or carrots, add them in during the last couple hours of cooking.)
  • When it's done, add your bouillon and Montreal Steak seasoning to the gravy and mix well. Serve on top of mashed potatoes.
