We loved the mix of flavors and ingredients in this crescent breakfast cup recipe... A terrific finger food for breakfast or brunch!

1 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
3 eggs
2 Tbsp cream, half n half or milk
5 slice cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese (or Monterey Jack)
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
cooking spray
2 Tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray. Mine has 24 cups.
  • 2. Open crescent dough and pull off enough to fit in the tin. Press up sides to form a cup of dough in each. In a small dish mix melted butter and garlic powder. Lightly brush this inside the crescent cups.
  • 3. In a bowl, beat eggs with cream, salt, pepper, and cheese.
  • 4. Sprinkle bacon in the bottom of each cup.
  • 5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of egg mixture into each cup.
  • 6. Bake for 10-12 minutes on 375. Then enjoy!

Air Fryer Crescent Breakfast Pockets image

This breakfast pocket is easy to make, and the filling can be adjusted however you want - think sausage and egg whites with Gouda, or bacon, eggs and cheese, etc..

2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
8 ounces maple apple chicken sausage
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
4 large eggs
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Slice sausage into coin-sized pieces.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add eggs and sausage pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, until cooked through, about 2 minutes.
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of filling onto 8 of the crescent triangles. Place remaining crescents on top of filling. Pinch to seal triangle pockets.
  • Cook in the air fryer until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
