BANANA SPLIT SALAD
This is a recipe handed down by my mom, and it's now a hit at my house. Because it's frozen, it can be made well in advance. I find that especially nice when I'm planning a party. -Shelly Korell, Bayard, Nebraska

CREAMY BANANA SPLIT SALAD
This will remind you of a banana split... only a bit healthier. Another Easy and fun salad. You may want to omit some of the ingredients or add others to your family's liking. My grandchildren love to help in the kitchen and this is a recipe that I let them help with... and that way they all get a spoon to lick when it is done!

- In large bowl mix together with a spoon, the pudding package with the cool whip and nuts. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- This is a picnic and party favorite that is served from the large bowl, or in individual serving dishes. I sometimes garnish with a sprig of mint or with one or more of the ingredients in the recipe. *** a variation: add chocolate chips or bits of Snickers bars (chopped). Really reminds you of a banana split...
- You can change this by adding less of some ingredients and more of others... or by adding other fruits of your choice! ox
