1 can (14 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, well drained
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, well drained
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Steps:

  • In a small serving bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, oranges and pineapple. Stir in pecans just before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.

¾ cup orange juice
¼ cup white sugar
¼ cup light brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
2 cups crushed pineapple with juice
¼ cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)

Steps:

  • Cook and stir orange juice, white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a saucepan over medium heat until sugars are dissolved, about 5 minutes. Stir in cranberries, pineapple, and walnuts; cook, stirring frequently, until sauce is slightly reduced and thickened, 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Remove saucepan from heat and stir in orange liqueur.

This goes back a long time, and I still make it to serve with a turkey dinner. It is one of my favorite cranberry recipes, and is always enjoyed by everyone. Serve this at your holiday dinner table and you will receive rave reviews! You can make this up to a week in advance.... this has the perfect balance of sweet and tart with the the right texture! No need to double the recipe this makes close to 6 cups, plan ahead the sauce needs to chill for 24 hours before using and you may omit the walnuts if desired

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice
2 (12 ounce) packages cranberries (fresh or frozen, preferably fresh)
1 1/4 cups sugar (can use more)
1 1/4 cups walnuts, chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon clove

Steps:

  • Drain the pineapple thoroughly in a fine sieve set over a large measuring cup (push the pineapple against the sieve to drain out any extra juice).
  • Add enough water to the measuring cup (with the juice in it) to make 2 cups liquid.
  • Place the liquid in a saucepan.
  • Add in cranberries and sugar.
  • Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Continue to boil until most of the berries pop (you might want to keep a splatter screen or a lid over until the berries are finished popping) and the mixture is thick, stirring occasionally (about 10 minutes) remove from heat.
  • Add in drained pineapple, walnuts, lemon juice and cloves; mix until well combined.
  • Transfer to a bowl and cool to room temperature.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • Delicious!

1 pound (4 cups) fresh cranberries
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 whole orange, unpeeled, seeds removed, and chopped fine
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Sprinkle ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Wash cranberries and set aside.
  • Bring sugar and water to a boil. Add cranberries, oranges, and cloves. Simmer over a high flame, stirring frequently, until berries pop open. Add crushed pineapple, walnuts, and cinnamon, and blend. Cool and serve.

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple reserving 3/4 cup juice in saucepan.
  • Add cranberry sauce, cornstarch, orange zest, cloves and nutmeg.
