4 (8 g) rose hibiscus tea bags
4 cups hot water
4 cups cranberry juice, chilled
1 lemon, sliced
honey (or sugar) (optional)
mint

Steps:

  • Add tea bags to hot water and steep for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and chill.
  • Fill glass with ice cubes pour in tea and enjoy this healthy drink.

  • Combine 750-ml bottle rose wine, 1 cup no-sugar-added cranberry juice, the juice of 1 lime and 1/4 cup superfine sugar in a pitcher. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then chill. Add 2 cups seltzer; pour into 4 glasses and garnish with lime slices.

16 -32 tablespoons cranberry juice
champagne or rose wine
fresh cranberries (optional)

Steps:

  • Skewer cranberries on a wooden skewer if desired to put in the glasses.
  • Place 1 sugar cube in the bottom of a chilled champagne flute or a long tall glass.
  • Pour 2-4 tablespoons of cranberry juice in glass.
  • Fill glass with champagne or rose wine (you can even use white grape juice).
  • Place cranberry skewer in glass and enjoy!

My husband loves the taste of mocha, so for Thanksgiving I gave this a try an he loved it so I'll add this one to the list of holiday things to make.

CRUST
1 9 oz. pkg. chocolate wafer cookies
1/3 c butter melted
FILLING
4 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 1/3 c sugar
1 Tbsp flour
4 extra large eggs
2 Tbsp hot water
2 Tbsp instand coffee granules
1/4 c heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
TOPPING
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 can(s) whole berry cranberry sauce
3/4 c heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp confectioners sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Crust: combine cookie crumbs and butter and press into the bottom and up the sides a little of a greased 9 inch springform pan; set aside.
  • 2. In a large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Combine sugar and flour and add to the cream cheese and mix well. Add eggs beat on low until just combined.
  • 3. In a small bowl dissolve coffee in the water; add cream and cinnamon. Stir into the cream cheese mixture just until blended. Pour into crust. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I test after 1 hour depending on the oven, sometimes I need the extra 15 minutes.
  • 4. Cool completely in pan at least 1 or 2 hours. In a large saucepan, bring cornstarch and cranberry sauce to a boil cook and stir for a few minutes or until thickened. Cool.
  • 5. In a small bowl beat cream and vanills until soft peaks form. Gradually add conf. sugar beating until stiff peaks form. Spread over the cooled cheesecake. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • 6. Carefully spread 1 cup of cranberry mixture to within 1 inch of the edge, cover and refrigerate the remaining cranberry mixture. refrigerate the cheesecake overnight, serve wit the remaining cranberry mixture.

8 sugar cubes
1 cups cranberry juice
1 750 milliliter bottle sparkling rose wine, champagne, or sparkling white grape juice
Fresh cranberries (optional)

Steps:

  • Place one sugar cube in the bottom of 8 to 10 chilled champagne flutes or other tall, narrow glasses. Pour 2 tablespoons cranberry juice into each glass. Fill each glass with sparkling rose wine or champagne. If desired, place a wooden skewer of fresh cranberries in each glass. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

My friend, Rose, gave me this recipe several years ago, and I have made it every Thanksgiving and Christmas since then. I usually make it the night before I serve it. So good! Yum! Yum!

6 ounce(s) cranberry jello (or cherry)
1 cup(s) boiling water
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) cranberry juice cocktail
10 ounce(s) ocean spray cranberry/orange fruit
1 - apple (cored & chopped.. do not peel)
1/2 cup(s) celery (chopped)
1/2 cup(s) pecans, in pieces

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve jello with boiling water.
  • Fold in remaining ingredients. (You can find the cranberry/orange fruit by Ocean Spray in the canned fruit isle of your favorite super market)
  • Chill until soft set. Stir. And chill again until set. (I usually make this the night before my "big" dinner) Top with whipped cream or topping if you prefer to serve it as a dessert.

1 (6-ounce) package raspberry jello
1 (16-ounce) can whole cranberry sauce whole
1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice
3/4 cup rose wine
1/2 cup walnuts coarsely chopped
Leaf lettuce
Whole cranberries
Walnut halves

Steps:

  • In a large bowl pour boiling water over gelatin stir until dissolved. Stir in cranbery sauce, undrained pineapple and wine. Chill until mixture mounds when dropped from spoon.Stir in nuts and pour into a 6-cup mold. Cover and chill until firm.Unmold onto lettuce leaves. Garnish with cranberries and walnuts.

  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cranberry sauce, undrained pineapple and rosé wine. Chill until partially set. Fold in nuts. Pour mixture into a 6 1/2 -cup mold. Chill until firm.
