- Note: The 3rd layer can be mixed first and set in the refrigerator while other layers are being prepared. Just don't forget it and leave it too long; you don't want it to congeal. Preheat oven to 350°F. 1st layer: In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, butter and 1 tablespoon sugar together. Press mixture into the bottom of a large flat baking dish. Bake 8 minutes at 350°F. Remove from oven and set aside to cool. 2nd layer: In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, Cool Whip, and 1/2 cup sugar. Spread mixture on top of cooled crust. 3rd layer: In a bowl, mix the Jello, cranberry sauce and boiling water. Cool and pour over second layer. Place int he refrigerator to set (about 2 to 4 hours).
WHITE CHOCOLATE CRANBERRY COOKIES
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheet with parchment paper.
- With an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars together until smooth. Add the vanilla and egg, mixing well. Sift together the flour and baking soda. Spoon the flour mixture gradually into the creamed sugar mixture. Stir in the cranberries, white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Drop by heaping spoonfuls, about 2 tablespoons, onto the prepared baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake one sheet at a time until lightly golden on top and the edges are set, 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on the sheet about 5 minutes, and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. - Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper.
- In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until blended.
- In medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pretzels. Onto cookie sheets, drop dough by tablespoonfuls 1 to 2 inches apart.
- Bake 10 to 14 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
