I got this crack stick recipe from a friend on FB.

Number Of Ingredients 6

16 slice white bread (crust removed)
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
3/4 c powdered sugar
1 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 c butter (melted)

Steps:

  • 1. Flatten bread with a rolling-pin.
  • 2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese and confectioners' sugar.
  • 3. In another bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  • 4. Spread about 1 tablespoon of cheese mixture on each slice of bread. Roll up, jelly roll style. Dip in melted butter, then in cinnamon-sugar.
  • 5. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Good warm or cold.

So easy and oh so good. I got this recipe off of FB and I give credit to Rosa (no last name listed). they are easy, fast and fun to make. The recipe name fits the taste perfectly. These are great for a party, brunch, pot luck or just a great dessert after dinner. You won't be able to eat just one so watch out.

16 oz loaf of white bread
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 c confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
1 c melted butter

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350F
  • 2. Cut of crusts of bread. Combine cream cheese and sugar till combined. In a bowl combine cinnamon and sugar. Melt butter in a bowl in the microwave.
  • 3. Roll out each piece of bread with a rolling pin. Spread about a tbsp of cream chesse mixture on bread. Roll up, jelly roll style. Dip in butter and roll in sugar.
  • 4. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 30min or until crispy.
