GARLIC BUTTER CRAB PASTA
This Garlic Butter Crab Pasta made quick and easy with sauteed garlic in butter tossed with flaked canned crab and mixed with angel hair pasta is perfect for dinner.

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat, add salt to keep the pasta from sticking. Cook the pasta for the time indicated on the package, then drain and return to the pot.
- As soon as the pasta goes into the pot, melt the butter in a saute pan over medium high heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring often, for two minutes or until the garlic is soften, being careful not to let it burn. Add the reserved juices from the cans and turn off the heat. Stir in the crab meat, parsley,,salt, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir the garlic butter crab mixture into the pasta and serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
- At the same time, heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic to the hot oil; cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in imitation crab and heat for 2 minutes.
- Begin cooking rotini. Add to the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, stir half-and-half and parsley into the crab sauce; bring to a simmer. Continue to simmer crab sauce, adding pasta water as necessary, while pasta is finishing.
- Drain pasta.
- Mix Parmesan cheese into crab sauce and heat until melted, about 2 minutes. Serve over pasta.

- Cook pasta according to package directions and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter.
- Add onion and cook about 5 minutes or until translucent.
- Reduce heat to medium and add tomatoes. Cook about 10 minutes.
- Add cream, salt, and pepper - cooking another 5 minutes until thickened.
- Flake and pick through lump crabmeat, then add crab to sauce along with lemon juice.
- Add pasta to skillet and heat through.
- Plate pasta and sprinkle each serving with chives and cheese.

- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, and salt it. Put oil, garlic, chilies and a pinch of salt in a saucepan large enough to hold cooked pasta and turn heat to medium-low. Cook, shaking pan, until garlic just begins to color; turn off heat.
- When water boils, cook pasta. When it is just about done, turn heat under oil back to low and add crab; stir once or twice. Drain pasta (reserve a bit of cooking water), and toss it in crab sauce to coat. If mixture seems a bit dry, add reserved cooking water or more olive oil. Stir in parsley, adjust seasoning, and serve.
