The Coke tenderizes the meat. Once mixture has simmered down it will make a barbecue like sauce that is sensational and the pork chops will be so tender, they'll practically fall apart.

6 -8 pork chops
12 -16 ounces Coke
1 large onion
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
6 tablespoons ketchup
1 dash pepper
1 can sliced mushroom (, or fresh)
1 dash garlic powder

Steps:

  • Brown the pork chops on both sides and drain.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Slice onions and fry lightly.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Pour Coke and other ingredients in the skillet.
  • Add pork chops and onions back into the skillet.
  • Simmer on low with a lid for 30-45 minutes until liquid is evaporated and a thickened sauce has formed.

1 cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage
2 tablespoons brown sugar
8 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix together the ketchup, cola and brown sugar.
  • Place pork chops into a baking pan and pour cola mixture over, coating well. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for about one hour depending on the thickness of the pork chop.

1 cup ketchup
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 pork chops (each about  1/2 inch thick)
1 cup Coca-Cola
1 cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the pork chops and cook, flipping once, until browned on both sides, 5-6 minutes.
  • Stir together the ketchup and Coke in a small bowl and pour the sauce over the pork chops, turning the chops to coat.
  • Bring the sauce just to a simmer then decrease heat to low and allow to cook until the pork chops are no longer pink in the center and the sauce has thickened, about 15 minutes.
  • Serve the pork chops hot with the sauce spooned over them.
