1 orange, peeled and quartered
¼ lemon, peeled, quartered, seeded
½ cup (75 g) fresh pineapple chunks
¼ cup (60 g) frozen mango chunks
1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes

Steps:

  • 1.Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  • 2.Select Variable 1.
  • 3.Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  • 4.Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.

1 cup boiling water
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup lemon sorbet, frozen

  • Place tea bags in heatproof mug, then add boiling water & steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove & discard tea bags, & refrigerate brewed tea until cold.
  • Place chilled tea, sugar, lemon juice, lemon sorbet & 4 ice cubes in blender, blending on high until mixture is frothy & ice cubes finely ground, up to 1 minute.
  • Pour into pitcher, then add club soda & stir carefully to mix.

1/2 medium fresh banana broken in half
3/4 c plain low fat yogurt
1/2 c fresh squeezed oj (or prepared with low sugar)
1/2 c apple juice or orange juice or canned pineapple juice
2 Tbsp dry milk powder
1 Tbsp wheat germ
1 Tbsp flax
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 pkg splenda packet
4 ice cubes (optional)
1/4 c pineapple chunks, (canned okay, reserve juice)

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If you wish to add crushed ice, add 2 ice cubes to blender, and pulse, then the other 2 and pulse. Can also be served over ice cubes if you wish.
