BOURBON CITRUS SLUSH

Bourbon Citrus Slush image

This is my favorite summertime drink, sitting on the patio enjoying life. Given to me by my college friend's Mom. Very enjoyable and thirst-quenching without being overpowering. They are the perfect light cocktail. When ready to serve, scoop out enough frozen mixture to fill your glass 1/2- to 3/4-full and top off with 7Up®, gingerale, lemon-lime, or grapefruit soda.

CITRUS SLUSH - LOW CAL

Citrus Slush - Low Cal image

Fabulous summertime treat - I prefer to serve mine in martini glass. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the vodka for diet sprite or 7-up.

Provided by Atiekay

Categories     Smoothies

Time 5m

Yield 1 drink, 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

10 ice cubes
1/4 teaspoon Crystal Light sugar free low calorie lemonade mix
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/3 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 tablespoon lime juice
1 lime wedge (garnish)

Steps:

  • Combine all in a bullet (the magic bullet tool is what I use, but I'm sure a blender would work fine).
  • Blend until the ice cubes have been crushed.
  • Pour into a serving glass and garnish with a wedge of lime.
  • If you prefer your drink less thick, add a splash of diet sprite or 7-up.
