BOURBON CITRUS SLUSH
This is my favorite summertime drink, sitting on the patio enjoying life. Given to me by my college friend's Mom. Very enjoyable and thirst-quenching without being overpowering. They are the perfect light cocktail. When ready to serve, scoop out enough frozen mixture to fill your glass 1/2- to 3/4-full and top off with 7Up®, gingerale, lemon-lime, or grapefruit soda.

Janis Plourde uses convenient cans of frozen lemonade and orange juice to create the base for this sweet-tart slush. "You can use either pink or regular lemonade-or one can of each-in this great summer thirst-quencher," remarks the Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario cook.

CITRUS SLUSH - LOW CAL
Fabulous summertime treat - I prefer to serve mine in martini glass. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the vodka for diet sprite or 7-up.

Steps:
- Combine all in a bullet (the magic bullet tool is what I use, but I'm sure a blender would work fine).
- Blend until the ice cubes have been crushed.
- Pour into a serving glass and garnish with a wedge of lime.
- If you prefer your drink less thick, add a splash of diet sprite or 7-up.
