MINTY TEA PUNCH

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 cups water, divided
12 mint sprigs
4 tea bags
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
Ice cubes
Orange and lemon slices, optional

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring 3 cups water to a boil. Remove from heat; add mint and tea bags. Steep, covered, 3-5 minutes according to taste. Discard mint and tea bags., Stir in orange and lemon juices, sugar and remaining water. Transfer to a pitcher; refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice; add orange and lemon slices if desired.

4 tea bags
8 cups cold water
Juice of 2 lemons
4 (12 fl oz) cans Zevia ginger ale
Lemon slices and mint leaves to decorate

Steps:

  • To make the iced tea, add the tea bags to a pitcher and top with the cold water. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 8 hours). The next day, strain and combine with the lemon juice. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • When ready to serve, top with the ginger ale and decorate with lemon slices and mint.
  • Enjoy!

1 cup packed fresh mint leaves
4 teaspoons grated orange zest
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
3 cups boiling water
1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
6 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Additional mint leaves, optional

Steps:

  • Place mint and zest in a heat-resistant pitcher or bowl; add boiling water. Let steep 1 hour; strain. Add concentrates and water; stir well. Chill. Serve in chilled glasses over ice; garnish with mint if desired.

5 black tea bags
1/2 c fresh mint leaves
1 c sugar
6 c water
1/3 c fresh lemon juice
1 c fresh orange juice

Steps:

  • 1. Pour boiling water over tea bags and mint leaves; cover and steep 5 minutes.
  • 2. Remove tea bags and mint, squeezing gently.
  • 3. Stir in remaining ingredients and chill for 1 hour. Serve over ice.

1 cup white sugar
1 cup orange juice
¼ cup lemon juice
5 cups cold water
3 orange slices for garnish
3 lemon slices for garnish

Steps:

  • Place the tea bags and mint sprigs into a large pitcher. Pour boiling water over them, and allow to steep for about 8 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags and mint leaves, squeezing out excess liquid. Stir in sugar until dissolved, then stir in the orange juice and lemon juice. Pour in the cold water. Serve over ice cubes, garnished with orange or lemon slices.

5 regular size tea bags
8 mint sprigs, crushed
1 cup sugar
1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted
1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed and undiluted
7 cups water
fresh mint sprig, and
lemon slice (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Pour 5 cups of boiling water over the tea bags; add mint sprigs. Cover and steep 5 minutes.Stir in sugar; steep 5 more minutes.
  • Remove tea bags. Pour tea through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, discarding the mint sprigs. Stir in concentrates and 7 cups water. Chill. Serve over ice. Enjoy!

3 ounces fresh spearmint (2 bunches)
2 large cold brew tea bags, such as Lipton (for iced tea)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice (from 4 to 6 medium lemons)
1 cup fresh orange juice (from about 4 medium oranges)
1 cup vodka (optional)
lemon slice, and
orange slice (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Put the mint in a large heatproof pitcher and pour in 6 cups boiling water. Add the tea bags and let steep for 30 minutes. Remove the tea bags, strain out the mint, and stir in the sugar and juices.
  • Let cool to room temperature and add the vodka (if using). Refrigerate until cold. Stir before serving. Serve over ice, garnished with the sliced lemon.
