- In small bowl, whisk together frosting, milk, powdered sugar, & maple syrup until smooth; set aside.
- Spray waffle iron with cooking spray; set cinnamon rolls on waffle iron and press down, cooking for approximately 4-5 minutes until cooked. You may have to press down on the iron during cooking if they start to puff up too much. You may need to spray again to prevent sticking after cooking several waffles.

CINNAMON ROLL WAFFLES WITH APPLE TOPPING RECIPE
Waffles made out of cinnamon roll dough and topped with a delicious caramel apple topping! These are amazing and so easy!

Steps:
- Make the apple topping before making the waffles because they cook up so fast and the apple topping will stay warm while the waffles are cooking.
- For the caramel apple topping combine diced apples, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, syrup, and chopped pecans in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 5 to 6 minutes or until the apples are very tender. Leave in the saucepan to stay warm while the waffles cook.
- Heat waffle iron and spray with non stick cookie spray. Place 4 cinnamon rolls in the waffle iron and cook for about 1 1/2 minutes or until done. (You may need to open slightly and peek inside)
- When done remove to a plate and frost immediately.
- Spoon apple topping over the cooked waffles.
- So YUMMY!

ORANGE CINNAMON ROLL WAFFLES - DEE DEE'S
These waffles are just oozing with creamy sweetness with a nice pleasant hint of orange. If you love cinnamon rolls, I'm positive you will love these waffles. I found a wonderful recipe for Cinnamon Roll Waffles, tweaked it a little to add the orange flavor that we like and came up with this recipe. Adapted from Recipe Girl.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat Waffle Iron. NOTE: The waffle iron I used is a Krups Belgian Waffle Iron. This recipe will make a lot more than 8 with a smaller waffle iron.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, orange peel, baking powder, baking soda and salt; make a well in the center of mixture; set aside.
- 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, oil and orange extract. Pour this mixture into bowl with dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened; batter will be slighly lumpy.
- 4. Spray waffle iron with nonstick spray (I used PAM). Pour batter into waffle iron grid and close lid. Following your waffle iron instructions, bake waffles until completely done. NOTE: My waffle iron instruction say waffles are done when they stop steaming. Repeat with remaining batter. Keep waffles warm in a 200 degree oven until ready to serve.
- 5. PREPARE CINNAMON TOPPING: In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour this mixture into a small ziploc bag, seal and set aside.
- 6. PREPARE CREAM CHEESE TOPPING: In a medium, micorowave-safe bowl (I used a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup) heat butter and cream cheese for about 30 seconds, adding 15 seconds as needed; just until melted. Whisk in powdered sugar and orange extract.
- 7. WHEN READY TO SERVE: Place waffles on plates, snip a small hole in the bottom corner of ziploc bag and drizzle cinnamon topping over warm waffles, then drizzle cream cheese topping using as much or as little as you like. Serve immediatley.
- 8. NOTE: I could only eat one of these! I cooled the other waffles and put in the freezer for a quick breakfast for another day. Also put cream cheese topping in a ziploc bag and froze both toppings for later use.

Steps:
- Preheat waffle iron. Tear croissants or bread into piece about 1 to 2 inches in diameter. Add to a small mixing bowl and toss with the cornstarch. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over the croissants and mix well. Add the cooled melted butter. Take the cold cream cheese and cut into pieces about 1/2" square. Coat with brown sugar. Carefully add these cream cheese cubes to the croissant mixture. Spoon about 3/4 cup of the mixture into the hot waffle iron and close the lid. Cook until there isn't much stem coming about, about 8 minutes. In the meantime, make the icing. Whisk the milk and sugar together to form a thick icing. Once the waffle rises and is done, serve with the icing, butter and sugar.
