Number Of Ingredients 6

1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 loaf (1 pound) frozen bread dough, thawed
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup vanilla frosting

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon., On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 12x8-in. rectangle. Spread with butter to within 1/2 in. of edges; sprinkle with sugar mixture. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal. Cut into 12 slices., Center 1 slice near top of prepared pan, cut side down. Closely arrange 9 more slices to form 3 additional rows, adding 1 slice per row, to form a tree. Center remaining 2 slices at base of tree for trunk. Cover with a kitchen towel; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°., Bake 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Spread with frosting; serve warm.

Yield 12 Cinnamon Rolls

12 Rhodes™ Traditional or Any Time!™ Cinnamon Rolls
cream cheese frosting, included with rolls
toffee bits
maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • Center one roll near the top of a large sprayed baking sheet. Arrange rolls in three more rows 1-inch apart, adding one additional roll to each row, forming a tree. Add two rolls to the bottom to form the trunk. If using Any Time! rolls, bake according to package instructions. For traditional rolls, cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double in size. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes. When cool decorate tree with frosting, toffee bits and cherries as desired.
