6 cups hot brewed coffee
3/4 cup half-and-half cream
6 tablespoons chocolate syrup
7 teaspoons sugar
6 cinnamon sticks (3 inches)
Whipped cream in a can, optional

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the coffee, cream, chocolate syrup and sugar. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture is heated through. Ladle into 6 large mugs. Stir with a cinnamon stick. Garnish with whipped cream if desired.

1/3 cup ground coffee (NOT instant coffee)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup milk
2 -3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cinnamon sticks (optional)
whipped cream (optional)

Steps:

  • In a coffeemaker basket - using a filter - combine the coffee grounds and ground cinnamon. Prepare 4 cups of coffee as directed on your coffee maker directions.
  • As coffee is brewing, in a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, cocoa and vanilla and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes (till small bubbles appear on the sides of the pan) - DO NOT BOIL.
  • Pour the hot milk mixture into four coffee cups/mugs, then add the cinnamon brewed coffee.
  • Optional, garnish with cinnamon sticks and a dollop of whipped cream.

1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, room temperature
3 tablespoons buttermilk
1 cup chocolate frosting
3/4 teaspoon instant coffee granules
1 teaspoon hot water

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt, baking powder and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture alternately with coffee and buttermilk, beating well after each addition. , Fill paper-lined muffin cups half full with batter. Bake at 350° for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. , Place the frosting in a bowl. 2 cups low-fat milk
2 cinnamon sticks
4 ounces white chocolate, broken into pieces
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, broken into pieces
2 cups strong fresh brewed coffee
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
whipped cream

Steps:

  • Combine milk and cinnamon sticks in saucepan over low heat; bring to a simmer, then remove from heat.
  • Add chocolate and whisk until metled.
  • Then cover and let stand for 10 minutes to allow flavors to strengthen and blend.
  • Bring milk mixture to simmer and add coffee, brown sugar and vanilla.
  • Strain and pour into mugs.
  • Top with whipped cream.
  • Garnish with ground cinnamon or chocolate shavings (optional).

5 cups water

1 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
3/4 cup warm whole milk (110° to 115°)

2 tablespoons butter, softened
1-1/4 teaspoons salt
5-1/2 to 6 cups all-purpose flour
FILLING:
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 teaspoons instant coffee granules
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
ICING:
1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 to 2 tablespoons whole milk
2 teaspoons instant cappuccino mix, optional
