½ cup walnuts
5 Medjool dates, pitted
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts, or to taste

Steps:

  • Blend 1/2 cup walnuts, dates, cinnamon, and cardamom together in a blender until almost smooth. Roll mixture into little balls. Place finely chopped walnuts in a shallow bowl and roll balls in walnuts to coat. Store balls in refrigerator.

1 canned buttermilk biscuits
1 c light brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 stick butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. cut the biscuits in half and roll into a ball
  • 2. melt butter in one dish, and in another add the sugar and cinnamon
  • 3. roll each ball in the butter, then the sugar/cinnamon
  • 4. place in a cake pan..touching each other, drizzle with left over butter and sugar mixture...bake at 350 degrees 15-20 mins. or until golden brown...enjoy warm
